Partouche Poker: Day 1B

Today we will report about the second day of the Partouche Poker Tour Final in Cannes. A tournament with a great structure: 90 minutes levels and a 30k start stack. The players just started with the first level and they will be playing till 4AM (!!). We have a total of 740 players and that means the prize pool will be over 6 million euros!

Let’s introduce you to todays Everest Poker Team members and Live the Dream players:

Léo Truche
Well-known online at Everest Poker by the screen name leoledingo, Leo Truche has had a passion for games since he was a kid, but when he and his friends started watching Poker on television, they were soon hooked. Four years ago, Leo discovered Everest Poker with a simple “online Poker” search and has been a loyal member of the Everest Poker community ever since.

Julien Claudepierre
Like many young players, Julien discovered Poker through the film Rounders. “I fell in love with the Poker universe, and I wanted to find out everything about the game.” His desire for more information led him to Everest’s play money tables. He also worked as an intern for the online Poker school Deuces Cracked in New York City.

Francesco de Vivo
In his first live event as an Everest Poker-sponsored player, Italy’s Francesco de Vivo made quite the impression. On Sunday, February 21, Francesco finished second in Copenhagen, cashing €303,000 ($411,000). Francesco is a beloved player in the Italian community.

Sigurd Eskeland
The 36-year-old father of two from Oslo took a year off from teaching elementary education to become a full-time Poker pro. It’s safe to say he made a wise decision. Sigurd claimed his first gold bracelet and cashed $260,497 in the 8-game Mixed event only six months after being named to the 2010 Live the Dream Team.

Fabrice Soulier
One of the world’s best and most recognizable live event players, Fabrice Soulier brings over a decade of pro experience to Team Everest. Fabrice—known online as FabSoul— has long been regarded as one of the top players not only in his native France, but throughout the world. At the 2009 WSOP alone, Fabrice cashed seven times, made four final table appearances and finished in 49th place at the Main event ($138,568).

Valentin Messina
In January 2010, Valentin became the Poker Champion of France in the biggest-ever final of the France Poker Tour, outlasting 635 players and cashing €152,000. Following his victory in Paris, he also made a final table at the SPT Aranjuez. He has also won the $10,000 Guaranteed, $30,000 Guaranteed and the $100,000 Guaranteed, and over a dozen packages to live events online with Everest Poker.

Estelle Denis
Our new sponsored player! She is well known in France as a TV personality, but when she’s not working she loves to play Poker, and with good results! She cashed in the Main event of the WSOP last year with a 203nd place.
